Birthday Party Packages

Our BASIC PARTY PACKAGE is $599 except during festivals.

Festival pricing is $699 weekday and $799 weekend (Friday, Saturday or Sunday during festivals).

FESTIVAL SCHEDULE: December (Holidays at the Farm -Weekends December 2-23, 2024), April (Spring Fling -Weekends March 16-30, 2024) and the entire month of October

The Basic Party Package includes:

Up to 20 children and up to 40 adults. Additional guests are welcome at $10 and up (depending on final party package) per guest with advance notice so we staff appropriately.

  • Private party space for 2.5 hours, with time to set up and time to break down

  • Guided petting zoo-a chance for all guests to spend lots of time with the goats, bunnies, ducks, chickens and pot bellied pigs

  • Pony/Horse rides-Pony carousel for 8 and under OR hand led horses for guests 8 and over (or do both for an additional $75)

  • Corn hole, straw bale area for climbing and playing.

  • Picnic tables and folding tables for food service/presents/decor are provided. We also offer a large cooler for drinks (you bring the ice) and food (you bring or see the onsite options), and an onsite party planner

  • Checkered Linens for the tables (red and white checkered linen table clothes are provided if you would like. Outside decor is welcome also)

  • Appropriate for children of all ages (we do receptions, weddings, and parties for grown ups too...just ask)

Festival parties are a little different due to onsite activities (in the spring-Spring Fling), in October our pumpkin patch and Harvest Festival (October 1-31) and for the holidays our Holidays at the Farm)!  Please inquire for details. Festival Parties are available at 10AM and 3PM (Friday afternoon can start at 4PM). Festival parties also include the additional festival activities for all guests and a guest appearance for the birthday person at the Pig races!

Gemstone Mining

Adventure back in time to The Gilchrist Farm Mining Company to try your hand at prospecting for gems, minerals, fossils and FUN!!!! Enter history to discover gems like amethyst, quartz, pyrite, and maybe even find fossils or an arrowhead! Each bag of mining rough contains a wonderful mix of gems and fun! Sift, sort and marvel at your discovery! Special party package available exclusively during parties. $10 per participant and $35 to choose the MEGA miner for your birthday star! Includes the mining experience at our sluice and an awesome bag of gemstones with guide to take home!

Extra time-$100 an hour. Extra people, varies depending on package choices.

  • Popcorn machine-includes popcorn and bags $75

  • Coffee, tea & hot chocolate bar $80

  • Sno-cones-includes syrup, cups & ice and machine rental $75

  • Hot dogs $4/guest inclusive (hot dogs, buns, condiments)

  • Hamburger/Cheeseburger $7 guest inclusive (burgers, cheese, buns, condiments)

(Food options are unlimited.  We can coordinate with any local restaurant to serve up something special.  Ask for ideas and we'll give you the price range).

  • "Scavenger Hunt Game” -Travel Around the Farm playing a Scavenger Hunt style game. Great way to explore and play all over the farm. Tailored to the specific age group. $75

  • Painted horse or pony-Decorate a beautiful pony or horse with paints, decorations and glitter! $75

  • Wagon Rides! Adults and children enjoy a scenic ride around the farm! $75

  • Farm Train! Children 8 and under enjoy a ride in our whimsical Farm Train with animal cars! $75

  • Party favors-Make and take!
    Candle making, traditional doll making, leather stamping, horse shoe painting $7/craft made

  • Hand made goat's milk soap party favors, ready to hand out! $7/per favor

  • Archery-Learn to shoot arrows in our range! Appropriate for ages 6 and up. $100 (or add to Axe Throwing for $50)

  • Axe Throwing-Hurl Axes at Logs! Appropriate for ages 10 and up. $100 (or add to Archery for $50)

  • MOUNTED ARCHERY-Learn to shoot arrows in our range and then shoot from horseback!!! $200 as a party add-on, $45 per rider stand alone (not as part of a party). Appropriate for ages 7 through adult. This option also extends your party by a half an hour. Not available during the Harvest Festival.
