Meet our instructors!
Morgan Duryea
Morgan's journey with our program commenced in 2016 as a dedicated volunteer, evolving into a pivotal role integral to our growth. With a passion for riding cultivated since the age of 10, she transitioned from student to instructor in 2020, then assuming her current position as barn and program manager only recently. Morgan adeptly instructs individuals of diverse ages and skill levels, specializing in western riding while also honing her skills in hunter jumpers and dressage. Her commitment extends to the ownership of her two horses on-site and contributing to the well-being and care of the entire herd.
Natalie De gyarfas
Natalie teaches mounted archery and English riding. She has been riding since young childhood, and was brought up with Tennessee Walking Horses and trail riding. As a teenager she specialized in the Hunter Jumper discipline at a competitive level. In 2020, she discovered the competitive sport of Horseback Archery and has been competing and teaching ever since.
Zayden Regula
Zayden Regula, 23, has cultivated a deep love for horses since childhood, leading him to teach beginner riders, practice balanced horsemanship in training, and contribute to a therapy program for children with autism and physical disabilities. With a profound understanding of horse behavior, he emphasizes desensitization to real-life challenges, whether on trails, at shows, or in the roundpen. Zayden fosters a collaborative approach to training, viewing it as a partnership rather than breaking. His competitive experience in western pleasure, equitation, and trail trials underscores his commitment. He takes pride in sharing his passion and expertise, finding joy in working with horses daily.
Mark Hansen
Mark serves as our head archery instructor and teaches to many ages and skill levels throughout the week. Joining us in recent years, Mark has grown into a very skilled archer and continues his own training as he grows with our program. Mark is very thoughtful to tailoring his lessons to all ages and skills and continues to amaze us with his dedication to the sport and care of all his students.
